I founded Historic La Jolla Walking Tours after a colorful career in Silicon Valley: from the .com bust to the ☁️. Upon escaping to La Jolla, I soon discovered our rich and fascinating history. I have not stopped studying it, using sources ranging from my octogenarian bocce companions’ stories to the vast resources of the Riford ‘s library’s History Room, here in the village.
I shared my findings with friends and their visiting guests. They encouraged me to offer this tour to one and all, and so here we are. I’m grateful to live here, and take great pride in presenting our community to visitors and locals alike. I guarantee you’ll learn 5 things about La Jolla, even if you were born at 464 Prospect St.
Think outside the sea lions! Our tour delivers an experience that only a true local can provide.
